Plugins for HTML and XML validation?

Hi,

I have been searching for plugins to validate HTML and XML files.  Ideas that
come to mind are Tidy and XMLLint.  I have not found existing plugins for those
though.

Does anyone know of any for those or can anyone recommend other plugins?

I found Maven Validator for XHTML, but nothing for XML yet.  I am still asking
for advice on an HTML validator because I cannot get the XHTML plugin to work
yet.
