   Thanks for this contribution. The out-of-the-box Java serde for Pulsar Functions (`JavaSerDe`) was removed in #22832, which removes the deserialization risk this PR guards against, so this change is no longer needed. This is part of the open-PR cleanup discussed on dev@pulsar.apache.org.
