Tomcat startup is taking too long (about 6 minutes).
Tomcat is trying to connect to minotaur-2.apache.org (209.237.227.195:80)
as shown by netstat below.

tcp        0      1 15.38.78.102:32788      209.237.227.195:80 SYN_SENT 

tomcat started completly only after netstat showed no connections to 
209.237.227.195:80
