I downloaded this pdf to understand what you are looking for.

As far as I can see, this pdf has nothing to do with programming, it's a collection of narrative around cloud concepts:
-automation
-monitoring
-CI/CD
-single sign-on
etc

All these apply to a CloudStack cloud and can be implemented with all sorts of tools.

My suggestion for you is to read "The Phoenix Project"
