[jira] [Created] (YARN-4603) FairScheduler should mention user
requested queuename in error message when failed in queue ACL check
Tao Jie created YARN-4603:
-----------------------------
Summary: FairScheduler should mention user requested queuename in error message when failed in queue ACL check
Key: YARN-4603
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-4603
Project: Hadoop YARN
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: fairscheduler
Affects Versions: 2.7.1
Reporter: Tao Jie
Assignee: Tao Jie
Priority: Trivial
When submit a job to a queue does not exist (maybe misspelling), scheduler will try to submit it to another queue according to QueuePlacementPolicy. For instance, when I submit a job to queue root.abc, return error message is like:
{quote}
java.io.IOException: Failed to run job : User user1 cannot submit applications to queue root.default
{quote}
We'd better add original user requested queue name to this error message.
