Hi,

Right now I can send gzipped output from servlet only. I would like to have
this done in JSP too.

Is it possible to create an appropriate type of  jspwriter depending on the
encoding type of the request.

I am willing to work on it. I may need some help in understanding the
architecture of tomcat.
