Review comment:
Now that #1191 is merged, you might want to change this processor to declare single-threaded execution instead of using a mutex.

No default value is the same as an empty default value as far as I'm aware.

+In the list below, the names of required properties appear in bold. Any other properties (not in bold) are considered optional. The table also indicates any default values, and whether a property supports the NiFi Expression Language.
+
+| Name | Default Value | Allowable Values | Description |
+| - | - | - | - |
+|**Pattern**|||A regular expression to match at the start or end of messages.|
+|Pattern Location|Start of Message|Start of Message<br>End of Message|Where to look for the pattern.|
+|MaxBufferAge|||The maximum age of a buffer after which the buffer will be transferred to failure.|
+|MaxBufferSize|||The maximum buffer size, if the buffer exceed this, it will be transferred to failure.|

Review comment:
Consider adding examples or some format explanation to the allowable values column.

Please consider changing this to a chrono type as well. The current signature doesn't tell the unit of timespan. (hours? minutes? nanoseconds?)
