airflow creating junk files at $HOME/airflow location

Hey All

I am using *airflow* 1.7 in our production. Webserver became unavailable
and while debugging I noticed that since this evening airflow is creating a
lot of junk files at home/airflow location. Has any one seen this?   e.g:
