[jira] [Resolved] (SPARK-24383) spark on k8s: "driver-svc" are not getting deleted

Marcelo Vanzin resolved SPARK-24383.
------------------------------------
    Resolution: Not A Problem

This has been working reliably for me. If your k8s server is not gc'ing old state, then it's probably an issue with your server.

> spark on k8s: "driver-svc" are not getting deleted
> --------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: SPARK-24383
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-24383
> Project: Spark
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Kubernetes
> Affects Versions: 2.3.0
> Reporter: Lenin
> Priority: Major
>
> When the driver pod exists, the "*driver-svc" services created for the driver are not cleaned up. This causes accumulation of services in the k8s layer, at one point no more services can be created.
