CATALINA_BASE defined for Multiple Tomcat 4 Instances causes "admin" to fail
Summary: CATALINA_BASE defined for Multiple Tomcat 4 Instances
causes "admin" to fail
Product: Tomcat 4
Version: 4.1.18
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Unknown
AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: wick@camosun.bc.ca
When using Multiple Tomcat 4 Instances by defining
CATALINA_BASE different than CATALINA_HOME, the
/admin application fails. The reported error involves
loading of WEB-INF/lib/struts.jar. If the jar is
expanded into the WEB-INF/classes directory and deleted
from the lib directory, the /admin application works.
Any jar file in WEB-INF/lib/xxx.jar causes the
application to fail. (e.g. add any jar to the /manager
application, and that application will fail.
