Summary: SSL Session cache not displaying on Server Status page
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.53
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P4
Component: mod_ssl
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: bos@writeme.com
CC: bos@writeme.com
The SSL cache information (sometimes very vital) is missing from default Apache
build (at least for me and other people mentioning this on various mail lists).
There are some website that have that info, e.g.
http://openskills.info/server-status
It seems to me that source codes are relatively ready and there's been a patch
provided few years ago that gives the basic functionality
(http://hypermail.linklord.com/new-httpd/2003/Jul/1189.html). Also, all cache
implementations have code that can provide the data (void ssl_scache_*_status).
It's just not linked together.
I'd love to provide the patch myself, but unfortunately I can't write in C and
my attempt failed :-(
