You need to read the documentation provided with mod_perl, it tells
you what information you need to provide so that people can know how
to help you.  For example you don't say what operating system you are
using, how you built Apache, mod_perl etc. and those things are very
important.  If you are new to Apache and mod_perl you might find it
easier to work with the 1.x series (Apache 1.3.27 and mod_perl 1.27
are the latest at the moment) because mod_perl 1.99 (which is really
the first mod_perl 2.0) is still in the relatively unstable stages of
its development.
