[jira] [Commented] (HADOOP-15889) Add hadoop.token configuration parameter to load tokens

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-15889?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16671055#comment-16671055 ]

Íñigo Goiri commented on HADOOP-15889:
--------------------------------------

Thanks [~ajayydv] for the comments, in [^HADOOP-15889.001.patch] I added the following:
* Logged number of tokens added through file or through base64 (separately).
* I checked the identifiers now so this should check what you proposed.
* I added a new part where I add the same token through file and base64.
* I also added a test for properties. I couldn't figure how to manage the environments cleanly as I would have to start a process and so on.

> Currently, Hadoop allows passing files containing tokens.
> WebHDFS provides base64 delegation tokens that can be used directly.
> This JIRA adds the option to pass base64 tokens directly without using files.
