[dbcp] Java 8 support

Does dbcp 2.0.1 support java 8?

I am able to compile it with the Oracle java 8 JDK and all the unit 
tests pass.   Is anyone actually using dbcp with Java 8?  Is anyone 
aware of any issues or problems in doing so?
