Log4J and Geronimo

We are using Log4J via commons logging in our JSF web applications.
Unfortunately none of our web application logging is appearing in any of
the Geronimo logs or on the console.

 

We have changed the three property files in \var\log without to log INFO
to console and to the log files, without any success.   

 

Any suggestions on what to do?
