[jira] [Commented] (HIVE-12329) Turn on limit pushdown optimization by default

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-12329?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14988940#comment-14988940 ]

Lefty Leverenz commented on HIVE-12329:
---------------------------------------

While you're at it, could you please change the description of *hive.limit.pushdown.memory.usage* to indicate the units? (Since the new default is 0.1f, I'm guessing it's a fraction of ... um ... total memory or some subset?)

Current description: "The max memory to be used for hash in RS operator for top K selection."

It might be good to explain what RS means, too.
