Not really a bug, but I know you like to clean up warnings
to get a clean make if possible.  This is what I get on Irix 5.3
with the SGI C compiler:

cc -c -Iregex  -O2 -DIRIX -DSTATUS   util.c
cfe: Warning 851: util.c, line 109: constant initializer expression is invalid (refers to automatic variables).
     struct tm gmt = *gmtime(&tt);
