User Profile Tutorial Error
Hi,
I am running eagle on a local OSX cluster and for step 2 of the offline user profile training, I run the command “bin/eagle-userprofile-scheduler.sh –site sandbox start” as explained. However, I am faced with an error with the attached stack trace. The exception is “Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal character in authority at index 7: hdfs://NN URL:8020” . Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
Best,
Peter
Re: User Profile Tutorial Error
Posted by Edward Zhang <yo...@apache.org>.
This may be caused by core-site.xml config in some of the base jars.
<configuration>
<property>
<name>fs.defaultFS</name>
<value>hdfs://NN URL:8020</value>
</property>
</configuration>
We will look at how to reproduce this issue and figure out the fix.
But one thing to mention is in Eagle 0.5, user profile will be
temporarily removed and
there are some offline discussions to discuss how to redesign user
profile feature and make it work in engineering.
Thanks
Edward
