   Helix now has different names for value not set (-1) across different components. These names lead to unnecessary code and confusion. We should have a generic representation of them.
   
   **Describe the solution you'd like**
   Use an enum for all kinds of value not set.
   
   **Additional context**
   Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.
