I could reproduce the problem by the procedure in Comment 16. 
When I push "Refresh" button on the top, the correct number of records are
shown 
and output result was correct.
The embedded data source browser loads wrong number of records.
But I could not obeserve the same result in the Data Source view in the 
Writer frame shown through View - Data Sources.
