I followed the documentation on the installation page
https://falcon.apache.org/InstallationSteps.html
but failed on step 2.
Below is the last part of messages. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
I tried to run again and it failed but this time with different error. It
complained about a Maven plugin missing.
export MAVEN_OPTS="-Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -noverify" && mvn clean
install -U -Dhadoop.version=2.7.0 -Doozie.version=4.2.0 -X

RE: Falcon On MapR
Posted by Srikanth Sundarrajan <sr...@hotmail.com>.
Hi Pavan,
Falcon tries to build a version of Oozie that can work with Falcon out of box. Am suspecting that this is causing issues. The build-tools module in falcon has the following plugin entry. Am suspecting that this might be causing issues. Can you try running the build-oozie.sh independently to identify the root cause ?
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>exec-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>1.2.1</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>BUILD-OOZIE</id>
<phase>validate</phase>
<goals>
<goal>exec</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
<configuration>
<executable>src/bin/build-oozie.sh</executable>
<arguments>
<argument>${oozie.version}</argument>
<argument>${oozie.buildversion}</argument>
<argument>${oozie.forcebuild}</argument>
</arguments>
</configuration>
</plugin>
</plugins>

It is complaining about some missing executable

Hello Srikanth,
Our nodes were running openjdk version "1.8.0_65" then i installed jdk 1.6
but still getting same error
From the prerequisites on Falcon installation page it supported JDK 1.7/1.8
and Oozie requires JDK 1.6+
Below is the message after enabling debugging

Looks like a build failure in the oozie build. Can you check if java version is compatible with oozie. In most cases that happens to be the problem.
