sourcepath problem in building tomcat

I always got the following error when building tomcat
by using ant. I tried ant 1.1 1.2 1.4. Any idea?

tomcat_util:
    [javac] Compiling 91 source files to
/usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-tomcat-3.3-dev-src/build/tomcat/classes
    [javac] javac: invalid flag: -sourcepath
    [javac] use: javac
[-g][-O][-debug][-depend][-nowarn][-verbose][-classpath
path][-nowrite][-deprecation][-d dir][-J<runtime
flag>] file.java...

BUILD FAILED

/usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-tomcat-3.3-dev-src/build.xml:206:
Compile failed, messages should have been provided.

I thought that I was using at least jdk1.2. But I
willl
check tonight because I have multiple jdks installed.
