NTML Server

Hi Experts,

I'm now working on OData service using Olingo V4 client. Now I work to
authentication party.

Some questions need help.

1. For NTLM server, is there any vendor provided OData NTLM authentication?
2. Or where I can got a NTLM server?

Any help will much appreciate,

Thanks,
Tracy

Not sure, but If you are looking for a mean to perform client
authentication against an OData NTLM server, you might want to use

https://github.com/apache/olingo-odata4/blob/master/lib/client-core/src/main/java/org/apache/olingo/client/core/http/NTLMAuthHttpClientFactory.java

HTH
Regards.

No, Olingo does not do any authentications, it is a framework to develop OData service, what you do with it up to the service developer.

Thanks Ramesh.

Do you know how Olingo test NTLM authentication? Are they using some
public OData NTLM server?

Or is there any ways that we can build one by myself?

Thanks,
Tracy

Tracy,

Typically I have not seen any authentication folded into OData in frameworks like Olingo. I have done some OAuth, SAML, Kerberos using Keycloak in Teiid's OData implementation ( http://teiid.org ) , but no NTLM yet. I do have outstanding request for this with https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-3035
