Invisible uploaded files after Tomcat was restarted

Hi, can anyone tell me how to make the file uploaded to be visible after I shutdown Tomcat?

I am using Tomcat 4.0 and Slide 1.0.16
The files uploaded is not gone, but when I restart my Tomcat, the files are not appear in my browser when I go to : http://localhost:8080/slide/files
