This patch generalizes the progress bar in 1.2 (see GERONIMO-1705) for use in the new plugin installer in 1.1. It also makes the progress bar usable in any other places where lengthy server side operations occur (i.e. not just downloading remote files). I'll submit another patch to bring the 1.2 version up to date.
