hayley yau updated DERBY-4020:
------------------------------

    Attachment: derby.log

Hi,
Thank you for your reply:
1) yes the InetAddress.isReachable() is part of this program.
2) yes there is a derby.log file attached with this email.
3) I will make a small program tomorrow
4) we did not execute this program outside of eclipse yet do you think
the problem will go away? Will derby plug in cause this problem?
Thank you so much for your help
Hayley

> After we install derby plugin (10.4.2) for eclipse, and wrote a very simple java database interface as embedded database, we could not call InetAddress.isReachable() to ping another host anymore, we got following error message -"An operation on a socket could not be perfromed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full".
> We have to restart the pc to get it to work again, it does not work even we get out of eclipse and get in again.
> need help
