Hi, I'd like to revisit this. The root cause is a tiny cross-platform correctness fix, not an attempt to add Windows support.
The Python side builds the jar URI with f"file://{jar_file}", which produces a malformed URI on Windows (file://C:\... — missing the third slash). Using Path.resolve().as_uri() fixes it (file:///C:/...) while being identical to current behavior on Linux — a no-op there, zero maintenance burden.
This would let Flink Agents run in a Windows IDE for dev/testing. I'm willing to open a PR (in python/flink_agents/api/execution_environment.py, both the common and version-specific jar loops). Could you reopen this issue? Thanks.
