[IO] Commons IO 1.1RC1 ?
Is there a release date set for 1.1 RC1 or Final?
The API as shown on
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/io/apidocs/index.html is the 1.1-dev
version. Some users (such as myself) might browse it for needed
functionality, find what they are looking for, but not notice it is
missing from the 1.0 version.
In short, when will a release candidate be available?

Whenever I get Lang 2.1 out, IO 1.1 is next on my list, unless someone
else is already working on it.
Then trying to grokk CLI's current state and whether CLI 2 has life etc :)
Trying to come up with better javadoc management at Jakarta is also on
my list. We're getting quite sloppy and it'd be good to centralise it
somehow. That might hit my list before IO 1.1, but would solve your
problem too.

Code-wise its pretty close. But I'm not sure if we have a release manager
who wants to push it through. So, if I gave you a date I might just
disappoint you ;-)
