[jira] [Created] (INFRA-3618) Apache repo are not being synced

Apache repo are not being synced
--------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-3618
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3618
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Nexus
            Reporter: Luciano Resende
            Assignee: Brian Demers
            Priority: Blocker

I have copied couple staged repos in the last couple days into
/www/people.apache.org/repo/m2-ibiblio-rsync-repository

and they haven't been live yet after more then 24 or 48 hours

Thoughts ? Ideas ?

PS: I didn't find a repository component, so I added it as Nexus

-------------------------------------

Wink was added to repository.apache.org, so you would need to follow guide Brian F posted.

Also, wink-1.1.3 was added to the root of: /www/people.apache.org/repo/m2-ibiblio-rsync-repository, ( that will not go anywhere )

photark has already been sync'd to central: http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/photark/

which is basically
{noformat}
$ mvn clean release:prepare release:perform

Brian Demers commented on INFRA-3618:
-------------------------------------

The wink project should be deployed to repository.apache.org not people. Mixing the deploys will confuse the maven metadata, as it will be rsync'd from both locations.

I will move the 1.1.3-incubating release over to repository.apache.org, and rebuild the metadata.

How did you deploy this release?

wink-1.1.3-incubating, and all photark-incubating artifacts.

if there is a way I can add a local staged repo to nexus and publish from there, I'm more then happy to try that... but I was trying mvn stage:copy and ziping the artifacts to try a manual upload and I didn't succeed.

What artifacts exactly are missing here? If I know the gav of the missing artifacts, we can manually add this to the old sync scripts. The old site isn't well maintained and I would recommend you move over to Nexus instead: http://www.apache.org/dev/publishing-maven-artifacts.html
