jon-wei commented on issue #8248: Add TrustedDomain Authenticator
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/pull/8248#issuecomment-524054332

   ```
   druid.authenticator.<authenticator_name>.useForwardedHeaders
   ```

   How difficult would it be to spoof the forwarded header? E.g., suppose a user knows the trusted domain but isn't otherwise able to send messages originating from that domain, would they be able to construct a 'X-Forwarded-For' header with an IP/hostname from the trusted domain and get authenticated that way?
