Solr 9.2 has been out for 6 weeks, with analytics component disabled, and a note both in Upgrade Notes and in [Analytics docs|https://solr.apache.org/guide/solr/latest/query-guide/analytics.html] to alert the project if they are worried about the component going away. Have seen no such emails on the users list yet. And still no replies to the 2020 thread.
Thus it feels quite safe to remove it from main, even if JSON-facets have not achieved 100% feature parity. Suppose when the 10.0 release happens and users find out that it's gone, there may (perhaps) be some requests to support X or Y, and then we can look into it while users stay on latest 9.x release. I'll proceed with the removal JIRA.
