[users@httpd] speed gains between Apache 2.0.x and 2.2.0
Are there any benchmarks out there that compare the performance
between Apache 2.0.x and the newly-released Apache 2.2.0?

I don't know, but I would be very surprised if there was any
measurable speed difference between the two unless you use mod_cache
or the new event mpm.
But performance benchmarks are almost meaningless anyway unless they
are done in the context of your particular environment and needs.
Serving ordinary static files either of these servers could easily
fill a very large network pipe.
