ConsumeAzureEventHub currently only supports Azure Storage-based checkpoint storage. This can be a performance bottleneck when the workload requires frequent checkpointing.

It would be nice if ConsumeAzureEventHub supported alternative checkpointing mechanisms such as a DistributedMapCache controller service or ZooKeeper.
