[jira] (MRM-1647) Cannot upload artifact from Web UI

Brett Porter commented on MRM-1647:
-----------------------------------

This does seem like it could be Glassfish specific. Can you confirm if the new UI has the same behaviour on Glassfish?

> Project: Archiva
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Web Interface
> Affects Versions: 1.4-M2, 1.4-M3
> Environment: Linux x86_64
> Glassfish 3.1.2
> OpenJDK 1.7
> PostgreSQL 9.1.4

> Whenever I fill out the upload form and submit, it always returns a form error
> "Please add a file to upload.". It doesn't matter if I upload just a jar or also the pom file. There is the same result for both.
> All that was in the logs about the
> upload was that the "struts.multipart.saveDir" was missing and that it
> would use the default. I tried setting this and added a line to
> struts.properties, but I'm still getting the "Please add a file to
> upload." message.
> When the "struts.multipart.saveDir" is set, there is nothing in the log whatsoever.
> The uploading feature worked fine using 1.3.5 in the same environment.
> I tried downloading and building latest trunk of 1.4-M3, but got the same behavior.
