Why in ajaxServlet are not supported MapMessage?

I'm looking in the code of AjaxServlet and MessageListenerService,
and I saw that are supported only ObjectMessage and TextMessage 
as receive message from a queue.

Why not MapMessage? 

How can do to support MapMessage?
