[jira] (SUREFIRE-977) Failsafe ignores reportsDirectory property for failsafe-summary.xml

     [ https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SUREFIRE-977?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

---------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Bug

Once you specify reportsDirectory and you expect failsafe-summary.xml in the same folder, you have to specify summaryFile as well.
We must not make any guess about summaryFile and break the configuratio, see the param definition:
    @Parameter( defaultValue = "${project.build.directory}/failsafe-reports/failsafe-summary.xml", required = true )
    private File summaryFile;

> Failsafe seems to ignore reportsDirectory property for failsafe-summary.xml and always put it in $\{project.build.directory}/failsafe-reports. It would be more consistent to keep it with other files.
