Testing OJB ServiceLocator Broker

What would be the best way to test if I've setup OJB correctly?  I'm
getting dozens of errors from my junit tests which are simply just
trying to find a Broker through a ServiceLocator.  Sorry for the
seemingly simple/annoying questions, but I'm very new to Java
development.
