See SOLR-5865, it would be nice to use the MiniSolrCloudCluster for our tests rather than the Lucene test hierarchy because:
- it allows us to use our own test hierarchy (e.g. we can have multiple @Tests in our classes
- It is less likely to be broken by upstream Solr, since the Lucene test hierarchy is really focused on lucene/solr internally (e.g. SSL support was added at some point which broke us).
