Changing working copy repository URL

Hi list,

Is it possible to update the repository URL in a working copy? I just renamed
path to one of my repositories and can find no way to update the working copy
to reflect this. I thought 'svn switch' would work, but it seems it's only for
changing URLs within a repository. Do I have to check out a new working copy?

Help much appreciated,
Daniel Schlyder

On Windows you can utlize the Relocate command in TortoiseSVN.

User-friendliness is not limited to one OS - finally, it's me utilizing
the machine, if the machine utilizes me there is something
dreadfully wrong.

Yeah, I've got a lot of those files. Glad I don't have to change them all. :)
(They're also read-only, at least on Windows XP running Subversion 0.26.)

That's error prone.

Use "svn switch --relocate"

e.g.

svn switch --relocate file:///original/path/to/repos file:///new/path

You can just change URL in .svn/entries files using your favorite tool.
