Sounds good to me. Let's clarify your intention on this RFC so we know how to help.
If this RFC is to get the green light from community before you dive deep and get your hands dirty on the features, we can put on some discussion in mailing list. If no objection, we're happy to accept the proposal and be supportive to the direction further.

Right now, with the RFC we certainly have a more clear view on what you're aiming at. But I'm not sure whether there's a concrete plan for how to achieve it. Something like we need to do A, and then B, and then C...
