InputDate Problems

Hi All,

I have this - <t:inputdate value="#{someDate} type="time" timeZone="EST"
ampm="true"/>
and am having two problems:
1. The ampm attribute in the inputDate component is causing an exception
with MyFaces 1.1.1. - "Attribute ampm invalid for tag inputDate according
to TLD"
2. The seconds are showing, which I don't want. Is there someway to get
rid of them?

Thanks,
-Elam

Perhaps this?
   <t:inputDate type="short_time" ...>

Ah, ok. short_time in 1.1.1 gives me the time I want, but also shows a
date. I forgot about the convertDateTime.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Hi,

you can use an explicit converter:

<t:inputdate value="#{someDate} type="time">
  <f:convertDateTime timeZone="EST" pattern="h:mm a" >
</t:inputdate>

should do what you want.
