DO NOT REPLY [Bug 50596] New: make test hangs on testprocmutex
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50596
Summary: make test hangs on testprocmutex
Product: APR
Version: 1.4.2
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: APR test
AssignedTo: bugs@apr.apache.org
ReportedBy: jlpoole56@gmail.com
make test hangs at testprocmutex. I waited for several minutes and killed the
process with CTRL-C
I've been having problems with Apache segment faulting and noticed Bugm #50594
"apr_palloc Segmentation Fault" which looked to be the very same problem I was
experiencing. So I recompiled and performed "make test" only to find the test
appeared to hang at testprocmutex.
I waited several minutes before killing it. Here's my top just before I killed
the test.

I re-built apr using gentoo's portage system, and I also upgrade the apr-util.
Suddenly my apache server is running. I don't know why, but I'm not going to
argue with success.
Here's what was updated:
