Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-3455:
-----------------------------------------
Please update to the current 1.8.* version, which is 1.8.12 (or better: 2.0.2, see the migration guide at https://pdfbox.apache.org/2.0/migration.html ). If it still happens, then post some short code and a PDF that produce the effect.

> Key: PDFBOX-3455
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-3455
> Project: PDFBox
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Parsing
> Affects Versions: 1.8.2
> Reporter: Jason Cui
> Priority: Critical
>
> we are using pdfbox 1.8.2 and during parsing flow we find some times pdfbox will write tmp file into
> /tmp folder without remove it after.
> the file format is like below
> cos99986950820964800tmp
> cos999922793455609682tmp
> cos99992365847229286tmp
> cos99994373206641405tmp
> seems this issue links with the same problem we have PDFBOX-2723
> this is important as pdfbox seems leak important information without getting noticed by application
