[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-6994) JSONP support for the JIRA's REST API

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6994?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13821066#comment-13821066 ]

Tony Stevenson commented on INFRA-6994:
---------------------------------------

Jakob,

We wont be re-enabling JSON-P as it has been closed by Atalassian for security reasons, that in it self is enough justification for us not to re-enable it.

Having had a quick google around for CORS and JIRA - it looks mightily messy given how our app is deployed (app on a different node to the apache proxy). So in the short term I am sorry but I think the answer is no to this as well.

> In Marmotta, we'd like to list the available versions from JIRA in the website.
> We had this feature enabled and working (INFRA-5938) but in JIRA 6, jsonp support is removed by default.
> Would it be possible to re-enable jsonp, or alternatively configure CORS Headers?
> Thanks!
