I can submit a presentation addressing some implementations of HTTP data
compression (and especially -- dynamic compression) for ISPs and
Internet Banking. It could go further to WAP and XML. However, the level
of recent public interest to http://www.lastmileisp.com/ ,
http://users.outlook.net/~sbizyaye/dynagzip/ , and
http://users.outlook.net/~sbizyaye/dynagzip/support/ makes me doubt...

Could it be interesting for OSCON?

Thanks,
Slava

Thanks Stas, I got it. :) I create a new thread [OSCon 2005] rfc Open
Source Dynamic Data Compression in order to proceed with the details of
my talk proposal.

I didn't suggest to answer only compression specific question. I'm sure
you can answer a whole lot of other questions. And you can still plug your
knowledge-base/service/whatever in those replies even if those have
nothing to do with the discussed topic (e.g. at the end of the email).
After all, you've answered someone's question and helped them, so you've
rightfully earned a right to do your own plug. At least IMHO :)

I really don't mind to answer the list questions when capable, but
during the last year people often (for some reason) prefer to ask me
about Apache::Dynagzip and associates off the list when necessary. I
don't mind either. My response queue is empty to date (except a couple
of strange guys those have misconfigured spam filters). So far, I feel
myself still on team. ;-)

May be this is your chance to raise some interest. May be nobody knows
about your work, and you "simply" need to work on advertising it more. For
example by answering more questions here and plugging your work in every
reply that you provide.

I think it is.
