[users@httpd] How to supply Apache as part of product install

Hi,

I would appreciate if anyone could help me with this issue:

Apache 2.0 (with OpenSSL) is installed as part of my company's product.
The install is done on Red Hat, not as super user, and the customer
decides where to install the product.

So I need to be able to supply an install of Apache at any location (and not
use local
install if exists)

I would like to know what is the best way to provide Apache 2.0 with
OpenSSL.
for Linux Red Hat platform.

My current solution was building it on one machine, pack it, install on the
target
machine, and configure it to the new location.

This worked until version 2.0 on Linux. Before I solve my LD_LIBRARY_PATH
problems
I just wanted to get another advice: what it is the best way to do it.

Thanks, Yaron
