Groovy integration

I've been toying with and blogging about the Groovy plugins and tools in the
Mojo sandbox. There has recently been an interest in these tools on the
Groovy mailing list and I'm wondering if they are being actively maintained.
I'm also wondering what the process is for a plugin to graduate from the
sandbox into the regular Maven distribution sites. Where can I find out more
info?

They aren't being actively developed, per se, however there has been a lot
of discussion on the creation of a generic "BSF" plugin, that would include
support for Groovy.
