Please, can you confirm the latest commons-validator.jar is compatible with
current struts.jar

I've got exception in ValidatorPlugin.initResources(..) about connection error,
cant load validation.xml file.

I have no reason to believe it isn't (I presume you're talking about the 
validator nightly build).

Please post questions to the Struts user list, rather than opening a bugzilla 
ticket - also when you do post to the Struts user list, I would suggest giving 
more details about the problem - the stack trace, what version of Struts you're 
using etc.

Closing as INVALID. If it does turn out to be a bug, you can always reopen this 
ticket - but the place to start is the user list and not bugzilla.
