[jira] [Updated] (HADOOP-10373) move s3 logic to own replaceable jar, hadoop-aws

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-10373?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Steve Loughran updated HADOOP-10373:
------------------------------------

    Attachment: HADOOP-10373-001.patch

create stub project {{hadoop-tools/hadoop-amazon}}

# declares a dependency on the amazon library
# is a peer of hadoop-openstack and hadoop-azure

There is no code here, that is for HADOOP-10400 - which can go on top of this

> After HADOOP-9565 adds a marker interface for blobstores, move s3 & s3n into their own hadoop-amazon library
> # keeps the S3 dependencies out of the standard hadoop client dependency graph.
> # lets people switch this for alternative implementations.
> feature #2 would let you swap over to another s3n impl (e.g. amazon's) without rebuilding everything
