URL-generation and state
Hi all,
I have a question about the url:s the example driver generate to keep
state for multiple portlets. Do you plan to use this strategy in the
future as standard? What is the strengths / weakness to it as you see
it?
Is it made like that just to solve being able to bookmark a page and get
back to exact state or are there other considerations also? Is length of
uri not an issue?
Im not very experienced in the portal spec but from my perspective I
find it hard to think that the states will be preserved anyway most of
the time as most portals are personalized and depends on how the portal
was written with regards to session management etc.
I have looked for this discussion in the archives but I could not find
it anyone?
Regards
